Breaking News: Uviejitobor Bags Outstanding Commissioner Of The Year Award; Dedicates Award To Gov Oborevwori
The Honourable Commissioner for Oil and Gas in Delta State, Hon. (Chief) Peter Okagbare Uviejitobor, has bagged the OUTSTANDING COMMISSIONER OF THE YEAR AWARD which was organised by Nigeria Insight On Good Governance.
The ceremony of Achievers Icon/Merit Award and Book Launch took place on Friday, 23rd May, 2025 at Monarchy Event Hall, Effurun in Uvwie LGA, Delta State.
Speaking after the award presentation, Hon. Uviejitobor said that he dedicated the award to God Almighty and His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Executive Governor of Delta State for his benevolence in appointing him to serve as Commissioner for Oil and Gas.
The Commissioner who represented Udu State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly between 2015 to 2023 commended the organisers of Nigeria Insight On Good Governance, an NGO for finding him worthy for the Ambassador Award of Outstanding Commissioner Of The Year.
He said, “Thank you, today is a great day. As you all know, I am Honourable Commissioner for Oil and Gas who happened to be here. I dedicate this award to God Almighty and to my Governor who in his benevolence made me the Commissioner for Oil and Gas, Delta State”.
